HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL WETLAND PARK.
Hong Kong. China
The 10,000 square meter visitor centre, along with its 60 hectares of recreated wetlands, was master planned, designed and supervised by MET Studio over five years. With three major interactive exhibition galleries, three smaller galleries and extensive exterior interpretation. unique education and recreation destination.
Wetland Challenge: In this major gallery, visitors are taken on a tour along an interactive ‘river’, discovering the threats against wetlands due to human activities. The activities demonstrate how by making choices in our lifestyles, we can help save wetlands and their wildlife. A major vehicle of the gallery is Wetland Television (WTV), an invented television centre that allows visitors to explore issues on wetland conservation.
